Just thinking: Conviction vs. Judgment

Just thinking: Conviction vs. Judgment

Just thinking: Conviction vs. Judgment

As Christians we are COMMANDED to speak God’s Truth (particularly the written word) at all cost. The Truth from God’s word that we speak is powerful and does penetrates our skin into our thinking faculty. When spoken, God’s Spirit brings CONVICTION through those words, and godly conviction leads us to repentance.

Judgment is when a human have been given many opportunities through conviction, but chose not to repent, rather he/she either keeps on what seems good due to a depraved mind (a mind that no longer yield to the Holy Spirit’s conviction). Judgment is only by God.

Unfortunately, the enemy has muddled up the difference between Conviction and Judgment, so today when Words spoken by humans Convict (through the Holy spirit), rather than Repent, those whose mind are Depraved yell “you are judging” – unfortunately still, many who profess Christ but with little knowledge and zero desire to change yell the same.

Conviction is unto Repentance, and Judgment means your time is up, no more conviction for you (cup is full). It is my prayer this morning that the Conviction of the Holy Spirit, through God’s Word you’ll hear or read in coming days will convict you unto repentance, so you won’t be judge (eventually).
