Being Married

Being Married: Since your spouse is a human being with a sinful nature (inherited), living in a fallen sinful world and influenced (nature and nurture) by both, he/she will have habits and/or attitudes that drives you “really” nuts.

So, the issue is not whether married couples would get on each other’s nerves (see 1 Corinth. 7: 28), the REAL issue is learning how to enhance each other’s strength while extending grace to areas of weakness.

After close to 24 years of marriage and 16 years of full time itinerant relationship ministry (around the world), I can confidently say learning or knowing how to love unconditionally while extending grace in the midst of constant crap, is impossible without both party not only accepting Christ sa Savior but yielding to Him as Lord (honestly no short cut out there).
